SAFE RUBY

Written by Julie Starkey. Illustrated by Hannah Starkey-Morris, SAFE Ruby is Julie’s first published children’s book. She was inspired to create something lasting and beautiful with her 5 year old granddaughter, Hannah, and so the seeds of the story of the family’s rescue dog, Ruby were sown.

Julie and Hannah courageously put pen and paintbrush to paper. Each day Julie wrote a page and when Hannah arrived home from school she read the page and painted the illustration.

A book to fall in love with, evolved effortlessly and joyfully over time.
